Although I am mainly interested in light civil aircraft I have always been interested in what we now call warbirds - but were current military aircraft at the time I first became interested in aviation.  I have made a number of trips to the United States looking for my sort of aircraft and these are some of those that I have photographed.

Mustang C-GXUR photographed at Harlingen.

Mustang N 2688D came to Harlingen before it had even been painted.

Warbirds that have been civilianised are as interesting as the ones that are flown in military markings.

Nord 1002 was owned by my friend Rob Satterfield and came to Duxford to be converted to G-ETME after his death.

I actually owned OO-ARF, on paper anyway, whilst the paperwork was processed to export it to Cliff Robertson.
