 We have recently collected a Lycoming O-320E2D ( a Cessna 172M engine ) which has 6½ hours in the log book since overhaul.  The engine stood for some time so was sent to a "D" licensed engineer for strip inspection and a new camshaft was fitted at that time.  It is currently awaiting strip inspection.
